NEW ARRIVAL - This gorgeous sweetheart came into our care over the weekend and has already made herself right at home! She found the perfect spot on the sofa for a snooze, tucked into some tasty treats, and even tried her luck giving foster mum some serious side-eye for a bit of fish and chips… sadly, no success this time!
It’s still early days, but we can’t wait to watch this lovely girl grow in confidence and flourish in her new environment.

Glinda & Elphaba
NEW ARRIVALS - Please can we give a BIG GENTLE f&ff welcome to two lovely little ladies, mother and daughter. It’s a long one so please take a seat….
At the end of last week we were contacted about these two who were sadly living in a garden. The owner couldn’t let them in the house for personal reasons… no judgement please!!
We put an urgent plea out for foster homes, as ever you didn’t disappoint!! One of our wonderful volunteers even offered to drive over 2 hours just to get them safe even though she couldn’t foster another one of our fab volunteers was slightly nearer and she jumped into action late last night and got them safe in her home, where they were warm, safe and had full tummies!
Again our lovely transport team and volunteers sorted another transport run for this morning for mum (Elphaba) to move to her foster home
Both are now safe, warm and no longer living outside. With plenty of tlc they will both now thrive sadly they came with nothing so our lovely team are sending them care packages and our volunteers and foster parents have got some essentials for now.
This is why we all do what we do but we can’t do this without you! Our volunteers and supporters are priceless ….so big up yaselves and THANK YOU
Merlin
UPDATE 21/10/25 - Merlin has certainly been exploring his new home.
The garden has been inspected as has every inch of the house.
Foster mum says he's quite a livewire & inquisitive but very loving.
This 4.5 year old lad is going to be doing a magic trick soon where some of his 'bits' will disappear
Let's wish him well.

Marshmallow
NEW ARRIVAL - A big F&FF welcome to this handsome new lad on the block!
And after burning off some energy when he arrived in foster, he settled well in his new foster home and was as good as gold all night.
He enjoys his walks is good on the lead, a lively excitable little chap who loves playing with his piggy
Let’s see how this little stunner progresses over the next few weeks

Bobbin
UPDATE 21/10/25 - Our sweet little Bobbin is settling in really well and loving foster life along with her cute little monkey that she carry’s around everywhere
Bobbin has enjoyed puppachinos and some lovely long autumn walks with her foster fur brother which she has thoroughly enjoyed
Little lady is suffering from some separation anxiety when she is left but her foster family are working hard to help her over come this and trying different things to help.
Bobbin had her vet check last week which went well apart from being a bit scared and wanting to sit on foster dads knee for some reassurance Bobbin was spayed yesterday so please join me in wishing her good luck and a speedy recovery.
Morticia
UPDATE 21/10/2025 - Our gorgeous pretty girl has been and had her vet check! She has passed with flying colours! And was treated to a buffalo horn by her foster mums
She is doing so well in foster and such a happy chilled little one
The vet advised that “she might be a bit sleepy” after her vaccinations.. she obviously didn’t get that memo! Got home, got all the toys out of the toy box and was trying to force her foster fur brother to play with her love her!!

Mist
UPDATE 21/10/25 - A little update - well it's been a playful day for Mist.
Settling better now with her mentor who was literally born chilled. Sharing is caring - so they say ( don't agree if there's chocolate involved though ).
Of course the best toy is always the one the other wanted, but just look how her foster brother waits patiently. Then all his toys came out.

Matcha
UPDATE 21/10/25 - So here's Matcha on her socialising skills - she had a "ladies that lunch" date.
She's been a very quick & eager learner- scent work training has been tried out. She may be working at the airport on the suitcases next to earn her keep.
Foster mum says she was so good with having that awful haematoma seen to that she earned a special turkey tea.
She's special is this girl.
Pyrex
UPDATE 21/10/25 - We we well into week 2 of foster with Mr Pyrex and hes a character to say the least!
His sickness is likely anxiety related which his foster family are working hard on showing him the worlds not such a scary place, I mean, who hates the beach right?! Lucky lad!
He is still the perfect house guest, sleeping all night and likes a snuggle or to use his humans as a leaning post. Still a gentleman too when the grandchildren come for a visit as well.

Teapot
UPDATE 21/10/25 - Little teapot is doing what she does best, sleep, make gorgeous faces, sleep & repeat
She is absolutely loving the garden, her walks & her foster mum though he is doing so amazing with her!
Teapot has been through her applications and has picked her perfect home. She will be moving later this week so please wish her luck.
Masher
UPDATE 21/10/25 - Miss Masher is having a lovely time in foster and has grown so attached to foster mum, she really is the biggest sweetheart
Masher experienced what we guess to be her first ever secure field walk and she absolutely loved being able to run free
Little lady had her vet check and was absolutely terrified bless her given this, she was still an extremely good girl and let the vet do everything they needed to do, so brave little one!

UPDATE 21/10/25 - This little lady has now moved to her adoption trial where she has already had a play date with a family frenchie.
She has taken everything in her stride and has been a little dreamboat.
We feel she has really fallen on her paws here and have the highest hopes for her.

UPDATE 21/10/25 - Little Koala wanted to update you on her weekend.
Hello peeps, well I had a lovely weekend with my foster family. My ears are doing really well and the vet called me a dream girl. I had a nice long walk, lots of cuddles and then some serious napping!
I wish you all a happy week, I am going back to helping foster Mum with work, she does this funny stuff on a computer! TBH, I know she would rather snuggle with me.
Guinness
UPDATE 21/10/25 - Roll up, roll up, read all about Guinness!!!
And it’s the best news Mr Handsome pants has made awesome progress
This week our lad has put on half a kilo in weight he’s making fabulous progress with his food and it’s really showing
His super foster mum has treated his itchy paws and given him alllll the tummy rubs
This boy has stolen all our hearts as foster mum said, he’s a super fabulous, really friendly waggy tail boy

Roly Poly
UPDATE 21/10/25 - Just a short update - our little one is being a trooper.
She’s not a massive fan of her daily regime but she is taking it in her stride as best she can. Especially the meds in her favourite Babybel.
We’re very nearly three weeks in to her treatment and have been liaising with the vet regularly. She seems to be making good improvements and will see the vet again in just over a week in person.
Roly even managed a little zoomies this week so it seems she is feeling a little better in herself.
