Ready For Adoption

Flute

This beautiful 2yr old baby girl, is ready for her furever home and Sofa

Some of you may remember she came into foster as an urgent case just over 2 weeks ago, sadly her owner had passed away and she was being cared for by a neighbour who was popping in every day to make sure she had food, water and access to the garden.

Flute hadn’t had much formal training, socialisation or walking and work was needed with basic training and toilet training

Foster mum has been working incredibly hard with this and she has come such a long way with her training and her lovely little character is beginning to shine through

Here’s what foster mum has to say

Flute is an absolute darling who would benefit a home with lots of time, love and attention to continue her introduction to the world

When she arrived she had led a sheltered life and so was scared and overwhelmed by almost everything

She wasn’t used to going outside to toilet but learnt very fast. She needs taking outside every 2 hours, as well as after eating, she is just getting the hang of telling you when she needs to go out

She is not possessive about food or toys and has a very gentle and loving nature. She adores cuddles

She needs a quiet introduction to strangers but after 30 seconds loves everyone, but she can get overexcited and jumps high which isn’t good for her. With this in mind a home with older children would be appropriate

Her lead walking is coming along great! but still new to her so further lead training will be required

She gets Sensory overload in busy or strange places and tells people to stay away, once reassured she’s fine

She needs your patience whilst she adjusts and is further introduced to the big wide world

She loves the car but needs further training to stay in her seat.

After introductions she loves to play with other dogs and plays gently and is well behaved

She has never been left alone and needs reassurance. Once she feels secure she needs to be slowly introduced to being alone, initially for short spells

She isn’t crate trained and sleeps in the bed with her hooman

She wants to be close to her hooman all of the time, as this is all she has ever known… She just loves to cuddle!

She’s very intelligent and has learnt to sit, stay, come. She’s a bright little girl and eager to please!

She has previously lived with another dog so may appreciate another doggy for company

A beautiful little girl who, with continued love and support, will be an adorable member of the family, she will repay you ten times over in love and cuddles

The adoption fee for this gorgeous girl is £350, which is payable following the 14 day adoption trial.

Broccoli

Another gorgeous girlie looking for her forever home

This time it’s Broccoli, she is 4 years old & is sisters with cauliflower.

She is a complete snuggle bunny & absolutely idolises her humans, getting very excited when they come home or pay her attention

She loves her walks now & even goes to the pub & everyone she meets fall in love with her.

She is housetrained & sleeps through the night.

Ideally she would like to be the only dog in the home due to previous trauma by other dogs in the house, she has some bite marks & scars from possibly being attacked by her siblings. But it is possible with an understanding doggy friend she could end up flourishing.

She can live with children

Broccoli is a wonderful girl and will flourish in the right home for her. She will reward you with snuggles, kisses and fun.

The adoption fee for this gorgeous boy is £150, which is payable following the 14 day adoption trial.

Annie

Annie is ready for adoption

Annie came in as one half of a pair, but is now ready to find her own forever home. Annie is a Frenchie Cross.

Annie is a 1yr old female, she is a lovely bouncy lass but she is looking for a home that will help and train her.

Annie unfortunately is afraid of everything the world has to offer. Going out in walks is very scary so she will need a family who is willing to put in the time and teach her the world isn't as scary as she thinks. She is seeing a behaviourist at the moment to help her with this and we would be happy to continue this in her adoption trial.

She is young and very bouncy so we won't be placing her with any young children.

She will also give chase to cats, so a cat free home would be preferred.

In return for taking her on she is a very loving and loves to snuggle down right under the duvet.

In short we will be looking for a calm but confident home with no cats and older children.

The family would need to be willing to continue to work with Annie on her anxiety and to socialise her when out and about with other dogs.

The adoption fee for this wonderful girl is to be discussed with the right home.

If you would like to be considered for Annie and have been homechecked please register your interest HERE. If you have not had a home check please complete an application form: Foster/Adoption Application — Frenchie & Friends Foundation (frenchieandfriends.org)

Lennox

Lennox is ready for adoption

Lennox came in as a one of a pair, but is now ready to find his own forever home. He is a Frenchie Cross.

Lennox is a 1 year old castrated male.

Lennox is the laid back one who has taken everything in his stride, he walks well on the lead and has settled in but he will need some work on how to greet other dogs when out and about as he is a bit of a bull in a china shop.

He is young and therefore very bouncy so we won't be placing him with very young children.

He will also give chase to cats, so a cat free home would be preferred.

Lennox is also crate trained and goes into a crate when his FM goes out.

In short we will be looking for a home with no cats and older children.

The family would need to be willing to continue to work with him to socialise when out and about with other dogs.

The adoption fee for this wonderful boy is to be discussed with the right home.

If you would like to be considered for Lennox and have been homechecked please register your interest HERE. If you have not had a home check please complete an application form: Foster/Adoption Application — Frenchie & Friends Foundation (frenchieandfriends.org)
